Who we are

Resurrectorz is a conscious Record label and modern Tribe of creative individuals based in the Netherlands. What started as a dream of one individual has now with support of friends, family and a bunch of creatives become reality.

Why we do it

Our vision is to support furture generations in their journey in becoming the best versions of themselves and in their growth as connoisseurs of the fine arts and cultures. This by creating timeless stories and experiences that last and building on ancient values that have withstood the test of time.

Hence the company’s slogan and product department name “Last 2 Be”. This is synonymous to the definition of the word continue, and means “to remain existent/active” and “to pick up where it was left”. We stand for building a legacy , rising from the mud to light and bringing ancient principles to life.

Legacy

Last to be a living testament. That’s what we mean when we say build a legacy. The word testament means “will and evidence” and is similar to the word testimony which means “to proclaim”. When we transition to the other side, the only thing we bring with us are memories but what we leave behind are stories.For that reason in order to be a living proof of the story of (your) life we need to proclaim it with our actions.

We believe art to be the perfect way to do this as it is an expression of what you can do, know and master.

Since the beginning of time humans made art and through it left behind marks that became proof of their existence. Great examples are artifacts , buildings (cave) paintings, and statues. It are these masterpieces that tell their story and we wanna assist and teach you to use creative mediums to share yourz.

Late Bloomers

Rising from the mud to light does not only mean to overcome adversity but also to grow in knowledge, wisdom and understanding. From the darkness to light and vice versa is the natural order of life.

To be Resurrectorz, is to be grounded or even rooted in this principle as one might say. It means being aware that everything in life is and has its process and therefore it comes with being humble.

It does not mean that we accept a losers mentality. You can’t lose what you never had to begin with and we can’t bring anything with us anyways (besides our memories). On the contrary, facing our obstacles does NOT come with losses, only lessons. It are these insights that allow us to learn , to accept a Leaders mentality and to stand in those qualities. We therefore always represent and “root” for the underdog as we know that, that is what it takes to blossom to a flower. That is why we want to be a voice for the late bloomers, the people who are the last to be in society. There a reason the bible says “The last will be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.” (Matthew 20:16).

Live on

As we blossom while simultaneously building our legacy we realize that we are bringing ancient principles to life as we described earlier.

Hence the Name Resurrectorz: The awareness of life being a process and being part of the cycle of existence which is never ending and as result Lasts to be. Last to be also symbolizes to be continued. This sounds like an exciting ending of a classic story.

Which makes sense as this cycle continues from generation to generation. Observing and actively participating in this cycle enable us to recognize life lessons. It are these life lessons that allow us to learn and gain insights from the past , to gain inspiration in the present as well as motivation to keep pushing, move for the future.

Fun fact : “The Z sound in resurrectorz sound like electricity which is similar to life force energy. The same energy that is behind all that was, is and lasts to be. The same energy that makes our heart beat which explains the heart beat symbol in our logo.”
